La Jolla Weight Management Seminar Thursday, March 18, 2010 7pm-830pm located at the Schaetzel Center on Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla campus

The seminar will serve as a forum where you will meet the Weight Management Team including the surgeons, office staff, and other healthcare professionals. You will also have a chance to meet with previous patients who have undergone the procedures.  These patients are a valuable resource who will share their experiences with you.

Our seminar will provide you with the following information:

• Ø How does the surgery work for me?
• Ø What roles does diet and exercise play with surgery?
• Ø Which operation is better for me?: Lap Band? Gastric Bypass?
• Ø What do I need to do to prepare for an operation?
• Ø Insurance coverage
• Ø What are my responsibilities in this process now and in the years ahead?
